To find a stunning venue for a sales teambuilding conference, within an hour of London. A boardroom was required to seat 12 on a 24 hour delegate rate, with private dining. In addition, a fun team sport, preferably water-based, with transport arranged to and from the activity.

We suggested Lainston House, a superb hotel, based only a short distance from The Solent where water-based activities could take place.
EventWise were working on an event planning basis for this client so once the venue has been determined, the client liaised directly with the hotel on the finer detail.
With regards to the sailing day, EventWise booked the yacht, with a skipper and 2 crew for the day. Breakfast was available on arrival in preparation for the energetic day ahead, followed by a substantial lunch and afternoon tea. Throughout the day client took part in a treasure hunt, winching and spinnaker hoisting , with prizes available for the winners of each category.
BT Infonet commented on the quality of the presentation they received from EventWise. They were delighted with the venue and the sailing day, particularly impressed with the way in which the sailing day was tailored perfectly to their needs. They would certainly consider returning to both these in the future.
