Full Description

The group will meet at a mutually convenient hotel where your guests’ cars will be left for the day. All guests will board a coach which will take them to the training establishment of a well known and successful trainer. The morning will be spent watching his horses on the gallops and being given a guided tour of his stables. We will meet the trainer and you may have the chance to question him about his horses and his training methods. There may also be the chance of seeing the stable vet or blacksmith at work.

Following this tour you will be driven to Newbury racecourse, where a private box will have been reserved for you in the Berkshire Grandstand. You will be offered champagne and soft drinks before enjoying an excellent but simple buffet lunch complemented by wines and soft drinks. The food provided will have been chosen so as to appeal to both adults and children alike. The day's racing starts at approximately 2 pm and can be watched from the superb viewing facilities of your box. We can arrange visits to the paddock, start or weighing room should any of your guests wish it. It is also possible to run a small sweepstake competition. Afternoon tea will be served mid-afternoon and a complimentary bar will be open throughout the day.

At the end of the day the coach will return your guests to the hotel from where they will continue their journey home.
