Full Description

Once again the Polo fields of one of Essex's finest stately homes, Gaynes Park, will thunder with the hooves of polo horses as two of the best international teams in the world will battle it out in a phenomenal display of horsemanship and polo strategy.

Guests will be treated to a Champagne and Canape Reception in a private area of the VIP Gardens. This is then followed by a three-course gourmet dinner with fine wines. During coffee and petits-fours, a charity auction will take place for the Rhys Daniel Children's Trust which helps families with terminally ill children.

Entertainment continues throughout the day with the match ball being delivered by the Royal Artillery Company Skydive team - a manoevure that is unique to the Duke of Essex Trophy. The teams enter the field with a 40-piece marching band and during the interval, guests are invited to tread in the divots.

Once the match is over, the Duke of Essex's Private Marquee will open only for the VIP guests where all the players will be celebrating, whilst the Player's Marquee will be open to VIP & evening guests with live music acts & celebrity DJ's. Our VIP guests will be treated to a reserved table with champagne in the Duke of Essex's Marquee in a prime position to watch the legendary 80's chart topping band - The Real Thing. They will also have the opportunity to sit with the players before the band starts.

The evening ends at 2am once guests have had the chance to dance along to a live band and celebrity DJs.
