Description: The Banqueting House is the only surviving fragment of the palace of Whitehall, razed by fire in 1698. Designed in the radically new classical style by Inigo Jones in 1619 it is one of the country's earliest classical buildings.
Now restored to its former glory The Banqueting House has returned to its original role providing a glittering setting for a variety of events. In the Great Hall guests can view the world famous Rubens ceiling whilst the Undercroft provides a relaxed setting for cocktail receptions.
One of the great benefits of this venue is that it requires only limited decoration, lighting etc.
