the challenge
Societe Generale is the largest bank in France and the third largest corporate and investment bank in the euro zone by net banking income. Unfortunately, within the UK they are relatively unheard of. Our brief, therefore, was to support Societe Generale in raising their brand awareness in the UK as well as promoting their leading product – the UK Warrant – to a wider audience.our thinking
Collectively, eventwise and Societe Generale identified a number of key cities in the UK which had substantial financial districts. Our solution was to acquire and brand a converted Routemaster bus and conduct both field marketing and targeted presentations in each of the cities. This was supported by a pre-event PR campaign to generate interest prior to our arrival.our solution
At each city, the Societe Generale Roadshow bus would park in a suitable central location and conduct field marketing. Those people who expressed an interest in learning more about the products were invited onto the bus for a one-to-one presentation. Those who could not spare the time or who were specifically invited, were asked to attend a short conference presentation held in a local hotel. Journalists, brokers and key individuals were then taken from the conference for an evening of hospitality. At the end of the night, the bus moved on to the next location as the roadshow continued it's way from Glasgow to Plymouth.
