Falconry Experience the ancient and beautiful art of Falconry. This demanding practice is reputed to be the oldest field sport in the world and we have arranged for you to experience the thrill of handling and flying these magnificent birds of prey.

Polo Teams will be taught the basic rules of Polo. Practice the polo swing without worrying about the horse! Our professional coach will teach the four basic polo strokes (much harder than it sounds). This requires balance, and hand-eye co-ordination. Master this ‘Sport of Kings' and score as many goals as you can in the time permitted.

Sheepdog Challenge 'One man and his Dog' have nothing on this. There is scope for much hilarity as guests try to control the collies and herd the ducks through an obstacle course, under instruction from a top sheepdog handler. Teams will battle it out against each other to see who has the most control.

Ferret Racing An original way to entertain your guests with these wonderful creatures. Guests become involved with the race, entering the ferret into the pipe course then dashing to the other end encouraging their ferret to win the race. For added interest, Ferret Roulette is incorporated where the ferret is placed in a drum with a number of exits at the base, guests bet on which exit the ferret will appear from.

Sheep Shearing Having had the demonstration on how to shear a sheep, the team members will take it in turns to have a go at sheering their team mascot! Marks will be awarded for confidence, accuracy and various other qualities required to complete this challenge successfully. At the end of the afternoon, each sheep will be brought out by the teams as a finale, and an overall winner will be announced based on the appearance of their sheep.

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting This sport uses infra red technology to simulate the traditional sport of clay pigeon shooting, without recoil or noise problems normally associated with the sport. The five gun system allows five guests to shoot at once under the supervision of an experienced instructor.

Clay Pigeon Shooting A professional mobile clay pigeon shooting unit complete with 12 and 20 bore shotguns, a safety cage and ear defenders. An experienced instructor ensures a good score on the competition shoot irrespective of past experience.

Mortar & Musketry Aided by our Royal Artillery Bombardier half the team must master the trajectory of a Cohorne Mortar, lobbing bombshells into the enemy fort whilst the other team members armed with the famous 'Brown Bess' flintlock musket attempt with every flash in the pan to make their mark on the enemy target.

Longbows and Crossbows Our archery is quickly mastered, and should not be confused with usual target archery methods. Our enthusiasm will ensure a competitive and memorable day, with instruction on this addictive sport. You will be shooting arrows from traditional and compound long bows at 25 metres, at static and exploding targets. You will then be able to fire bolts from crossbows with open and telescopic sights.

Match Pistols and Air Rifles This is a great activity for all shooting enthusiasts of any standard. On offer are two types of shooting weapons, match air pistols and match air rifles. Guests will be shooting at a variety of moving long and short distance targets.
