Respect for the environment is fundamental to assuring a sustainable future. The Concerto Group recognises that our day-to-day activities impact on the environment in both positive and negative ways. We aim to minimise harmful effects whenever we can and will work through a continuous improvement process.
initiative
The Concerto Group has embarked on a company-wide programme to improve our environmental performance, to set policies and targets and implement management systems to monitor and measure our performance.
Our first step, agreed at The Concerto Group Safety, Health and Environment Committee meeting has been to agree an overreaching Environmental Policy. This policy sets out our approach to environmental management. Effective implementation of this policy represents an opportunity to improve The Concerto Group's performance by reducing environmental risks and impacts and increasing the efficiency of our operation.

The Concerto Group is committed to the prevention of pollution and will work to minimise the impact of its operations through a continuous improvement system.

Comply with all relevant existing environmental legislation and other requirements. The Concerto Group recognises that the effective implementation of the policy represents an opportunity to improve the performance of the company by reducing environmental risks and impacts, and increasing the efficiency of an operation
review
The Concerto Group will review this policy and its contents at periods of no more than 12 months or when procedures, company practices or legislation are amended.
The implementation of these reviews shall be the responsibility of the SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) Committee which meets on a monthly basis and is chaired by our contracted external SHE consultant.
