A truly networked team is one that works together towards a common purpose, with members interacting at different levels and sharing knowledge, resource and skills. High Roller has been built around these principals and provides a fun environment in which to demonstrate the benefits and process to your employees.

At the start of the game guests are split into small teams and given the challenge of constructing a roller coaster within monetary, resource and time constraints. Each team is instructed to build 1/6th of the Roller Coaster and must work with five other teams to complete the challenge. Starting with £4.5 million pounds, a selection of the items required to construct the roller coaster and a scale blue print drawing of their section the teams challenges are to manage their resources and network with other teams to become successful. All further resources needed must be bought from the merchant throughout the game but with price fluctuations every 20 minutes purchasing at the right time is crucial.

The blue prints show teams a plan and profile view of their construction but the build process is by no means straightforward. Healthy and safety guidelines set out at the start of the game determine how the roller coaster is built and failure to abide by these will result in point deductions or even elimination. As the game starts, teams will become focused on their own needs and wants and ignoring the wider picture. This is the failure of most teams and only as the game progresses will teams begin to network with others.

It is this networking and sharing of resources that will ultimately be critical in the construction.
