Teamwork is such a vital component in sailing that the sport offers a fantastic opportunity to maximise efficiency and synergy. Sailing provides an ideal catalyst to improve staff teamwork, resolve a boardroom problem or build a valuable team in a day. A race regatta is a powerful means of developing self-understanding and interpersonal skills, requiring the team to make quick decisions when mentally and physically pressured. The day will emphasise the need for communication, leadership & planning.

No previous sailing experience is necessary for guests to enjoy a race regatta to the full. Every member of the team can take part in the sailing of the yacht and its navigation around the course. The event manager is on call throughout the day and will set courses that the teams can complete successfully so that all guests can experience the thrill of close quarters yacht racing, whatever the outcome at the finish line!

The yachts are modern matched 45-50ft yachts. These modern cruiser/racers combine comfort and ease of handling with exceptional race course performance to offer the perfect choice for a regatta. The yachts are fully equipped with all safety gear, have state of the art navigation equipment and are certified by the MCA to carry up to 12 guests. There is a professional skipper and crew member on board to give guests the best possible encouragement and tuition throughout the day and also to ensure that all guests' needs are catered for.

Optional Extras:

Corporate branding, professional photography, evening meal and overnight accommodation can all be arranged.
Rigid inflatable powerboats can rendezvous with the fleet to take guests for a high-speed blast around the Solent reaching areas not possible by yacht. Race RIB included in 3+ yacht package.
