By |2019-03-22T12:08:22+00:0022, 03, 2019|

Here at Eventwise, we love taking part in festive activities, so we have rounded up our top activities for Easter Weekend!

Family friendly fun!

Head over to Lauderdale House on Easter Sunday to take part in The Great Egg Roll! This fun and creative family event gets everyone involved with egg decorating, a mini egg hunt and the great egg roll! Better yet, there are lots of prizes to be won for your little ones. We recommend booking this popular event in advance to ensure you can take part!

Horniman Easter Fair

Enjoy a family day out in South London this Easter and visit the Horniman Easter Fair in Forest Hill. With lots of different activities on offer, from an Easter Trail, to creative workshops, each member of the family will be able to find something they want to do.

Trade in chocolate for hot cross buns

If chocolate isn’t really your thing and you’d rather celebrate Easter with a tasty hot cross bun, then we recommend heading down to your local Gails. In our personal opinion, this delicious bakery offers one of the best hot cross buns in town. However they don’t make them all year long so make sure you get in and taste one before they go!

Check out an Exhibition

Make the most of the long weekend and book to go and see one of London’s best exhibitions! The Wildlife Photographer of the Year is an annual exhibition in London, and takes place at one of our favourite venues, the Natural History Museum. Book in advance so you can skip the queues.

Fancy Easter Brunch

If you feel like indulging in something a little more sophisticated this Easter then how about Brunch at Darwin, the Sky Gardens renowned brasserie. Enjoy some of the best local and seasonal British produce whilst taking in impressive views of London. If you’ve got kids with you, then we recommend going to their Sky Pod Bar to visit the Easter bunny and enjoy some festive face painting!
