This June saw us host one of our favourite events, the Wacky Wheels Races, for a client’s summer party/team building event!

Set in the gardens of Devonport House in Greenwich, Eventwise set up for an afternoon of fun. Our client chose one of our most popular summer activities, the Wacky Wheels Races, for their team building exercise.  Inspired by Soapbox Racing, this fun and competitive activity gives teams the opportunity to let their creative juices flow, whilst working together as a team.

The guests were split into 4 teams, red, yellow, blue and green, and supplied with a basic go-kart template. Next, the challenges begun, as each team played to win ‘fun money’ in order to be able to purchase add-ons so that they could customise their go-kart! Once the challenges had finished and each of the teams had spent their ‘fun money’ buying parts for their karts the fun really got started. The teams were given 30 minutes to assemble their go karts and get them ready for the races. A series of races took place before two teams went head to head in the final, to see who would take home the winning medals!

All in all, the day was a great success, with the client and their guests loving every minute of this fun, and entertaining activity. If you would like to find out more about Whacky Wheels Races, or any of our activities, please get in touch with a member of the team at hello@eventwise.co.uk.
