Eventwise is part of The Concerto Group so we can boast having over 100 events staff dedicated to making your corporate day out perfect. If you are looking to enable colleagues to let off some steam why not take them to a beautiful country retreat with hundreds of acres of team building event space? Set in 300 acres of parkland and woodland in Hertfordshire, England, The Grove is the perfect hotel venue to make some mischief with team bonding activities if you have anywhere from five to 750 guests. The Grove blissfully sits just 30 minutes from central London and Heathrow Airport, easily accessible from the M25, M1 and Watford Junction railway station.
The flexible meeting spaces all have natural daylight and its comprehensive team day delegate and 24 hour delegate packages provide mouth-watering confectionery and fresh fruit to fuel up your groups when they finally break from as day of exhilarating challenges. There is a choice of three unique restaurants for lunch and dinner, or you can order in your own caterers if you want something really boutique. Once your guests are exhausted from sports, art or chariot building, treat them to the award winning spa Sequoia. Maintain discipline with an early morning game of golf on the championship golf course.
The British accessories brand Radley chose to stay in London when they planned what was one of Eventwise’s most creative team-building challenges yet. The Barbican welcomed managers and employees alike, which started with a morning conference before the fun ensued.
At the start of the game 100 guests were split into small teams and given the challenge of producing a piece of art in gigantic proportions. But we couldn’t let it be that simple: guests had no idea what the overall artwork was supposed to look like. Each team was given two small canvasses, which, a few hours later, would be put together to form the ‘bigger picture’. So guests had to work together to create their artwork – it was teamwork at its finest. These skills are vital for employees as strong relationships and a focus on the big picture aids their productivity.
It turns out there are many hidden artists at Radley. Activity day guests were so pleased with with their masterpiece that they had it delivered to their brand new offices, where it sits as pride of place on the company’s wall.
Not only is the Barbican a great London venue for creating the next Picasso, but it also hides a spectacular banqueting facility and stunning conservatory within its walls. Take teams to have fun surrounded by a lush, tropical oasis that is home to finches, quails, exotic fish and over 2,000 species of tropical plants and trees. It is a joy to discover and can make employees feel extra-special.
Unique, tailored experince for our clients
We can serve up canape catering and classy cocktails as guests can look out over the tropical garden of the Conservatory, catch a view of the medieval church St Giles Cripplegate and the fountains of the Barbican’s Lakeside Terrace. The elegant dining area, known as the Garden Room, is a stylish treat for any company, whether you are the cleaner or the CEO. Match this with the Conservatory Terrace, which sits high up in the glass roof of the building, making the venue makes a stunning backdrop for cocktail receptions, buffets and formal banquets – perfect for hungry guests after a day of fun.
